Honeycomb Multi-Void Wood & Bamboo Rattan Vase

Bring the Beauty of Nature into Your Home

Dozens of natural voids — some no larger than a fingertip, some wide enough to see through — pierce the surface of this remarkable piece in every direction. The body is formed from real wood and bamboo rattan, its surface a dense, interlocking mesh of organic fibres that have been shaped, compressed, and darkened into something that looks simultaneously ancient and extraordinary. The narrow opening at the top is almost an afterthought — this piece earns its place in any room without a single stem in it.

🌿 Natural Artistry — Bring the Beauty of Nature into Your Home

The surface texture is unlike anything produced by stone, ceramic, or cast material. The bamboo rattan fibres create a lattice-like grain that catches light differently at every angle — dark charcoal in shadow, warm gold where the light hits the raised fibres. It is a material that rewards close looking and changes throughout the day as the light in the room changes.

⭐ Unique Silhouette — One-of-a-Kind Design for a Distinctive Space

Wide and low, with an irregular, boulder-like profile and a small opening offset to one side — this is the most sculptural silhouette in the DECOVIV wood collection. The large central void and the surrounding field of smaller perforations create a composition that reads like abstract art from across the room and like fine natural craft up close.

🌱 Natural Materials — Real Wood & Bamboo Rattan

Crafted from real wood and bamboo rattan for an authentic, eco-friendly touch. The combination of dense rattan fibre and natural wood structure creates a piece that is both visually complex and structurally sound — durable enough to last for years, beautiful enough to become an heirloom.

🏠 Versatile Decoration — Living Room, Bedroom, Office and More

The dark, dramatic coloring of this piece makes it a natural anchor for any surface — it holds its own against bold artwork, complements pale stone and linen, and adds immediate depth to a minimalist shelf. At home in a living room, on a bedroom dresser, on an office credenza, or as a centerpiece on a dining table.

Style It Your Way

Step 1 — Place a single branch of white cherry blossom through the narrow opening — the asymmetry of the branch against the dense, perforated body creates an ikebana-like composition of extraordinary beauty.

Step 2 — Position on a raw wood surface so the grain of the table and the grain of the rattan create a continuous material conversation.

Step 3 — Leave it completely empty on a pale stone or marble surface — the dark, void-filled form against a light background is one of the most striking displays of natural sculpture possible.

Perforated by nature. Defined by craft. DECOVIV — natural artistry at its most extraordinary.
